چکیده
Farmer' Participatory On Farm Trials (FP-OFT) were conducted at 10 different locations in Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh during rabi 2016-17 medium black soils to study the influence soil test crop response (STCR) approach vis-a-vis farmers' practice on productivity and economics chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.). Result revealed that targeted seed yield (16 q/ha) was achieved by adoption STCR approach. The mean grain stover yields under increased 37.1% 41.2%, respectively over (FP). plant height, number root nodules, pods/plant weight also 11.6, 29.3, 11.6 26.0% respectively, FP. There much larger negative balance available nitrogen potassium status compared based nutrient management gross return, net returns benefit-cost ratio (BCR) between ` 70200-77450/ha, 48019-55176/ ha 2.16-2.48 which higher as across locations. should be adopted farmers for getting profitability improving fertility status.

متن کاملGENETIC DIVERGENCE IN CHICKPEA (Cicer arietinum L.)
Genetic diversity of 27 chickpea genotypes was studied through Mahalanobis D and Principal Component analysis. The genotypes under study fall into five clusters. The cluster II contained the highest number of genotypes (11) and Cluster I contained the lowest. Cluster I produced the highest mean value for number of pods per plant. The inter cluster distances were much higher than the intra clust...
متن کاملCharacterising root trait variability in chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) germplasm
Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) is an important grain legume crop but its sustainable production is challenged by predicted climate changes, which are likely to increase production limitations and uncertainty in yields. Characterising the variability in root architectural traits in a core collection of chickpea germplasm will provide the basis for breeding new germplasm with suitable root traits ...
متن کاملEffect of Cultivar, Irrigation and Nitrogen Fertilization on Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) Productivity
A 2-year field study was conducted in northern Greece to investigate the effect of nitrogen fertilization and irrigation on productivity of three Greek chickpea varieties (“Amorgos” “Serifos”, “Andros”). Chickpea, grown under irrigation regime (30 + 30 mm of water) and fertilized with 50 kg·N·ha−1 before planting and with 40 kg·N·ha−1 at blossom growth stage, produced more total dry biomass and...

The acid-secreting trichomes of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) were composed of 18 cells, including 1 basal cell, 3 elongate stalk cells, and 14 head cells. A subcuticular secretion chamber with cuticular pores was present above the head cells at ...
